A safe, supportive community for teenagers and young people who have been affected by someone else's drinking.
What Is Alateen?
Alateen is a fellowship of young Al-Anon members, usually teenagers ages 12–17, whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking — most often a parent, sibling, or close family member.
Alateen groups are sponsored by Al-Anon members and follow the same Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. Members share their experiences, strength, and hope with each other to help solve their common problems.
You don't have to face this alone. Alateen gives young people a place to talk openly, without judgment, with others who truly understand.
